A respected outpatient pain management group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative care team in Northern Maine. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient pain management services in a hospital-affiliated clinic setting
  • Work closely with physicians and support staff to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with chronic pain
  • Maintain a safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered approach to pain treatment
  • Conduct evaluations, write prescriptions, order diagnostics, and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Engage in shared decision-making and patient education
  • Document care accurately in the EMR and ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Certified by a national board (e.g., ANCC, AANP)
  • Must have or be eligible for full prescriptive authority in Maine
  • Current DEA license or DEA eligible
  • Experience in pain management preferred but not required
  • Motivated, compassionate, and committed to interdisciplinary care
  • Strong critical thinking and independent clinical decision-making skills

Compensation & Schedule:

Full-Time Option (4 days/week – 8-hour shifts split across two locations):

  • Annual Salary: $120,000 – $150,000
