We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our integrated care team and help address the growing mental health needs of children and adolescents. In this role, you’ll serve as a consultative expert, supporting primary care physicians (PCPs) by evaluating pediatric patients and providing brief psychiatric interventions before returning ongoing care to the referring provider.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations using a biopsychosocial model
- Develop, implement, and adjust evidence-based treatment plans
- Prescribe and monitor the effectiveness of psychiatric medications
- Communicate with referring PCPs, mental health therapists, and care teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Provide consultation-based psychiatric input that supports primary care-led mental health management
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and same-day billing for each visit
- Track patient outcomes, respond to changes in clinical status, and participate in ongoing care planning
- Support and align with the organization’s mission, vision, values, and compliance standards
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP preferred)
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in pediatric psychiatry or behavioral health
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, fast-paced outpatient setting
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children, adolescents, families, and PCPs
- Proficiency in EMR documentation and mental health assessment tools
- Deep understanding of HIPAA, documentation best practices, and trauma-informed care
