A beautiful, river city in Georgia is seeking an experience RN Director to oversee Hospice. BSN is required. 2+ years of Supervisory and 2+ years of recent Hospice experience. Sign-on and Relocations are being offered.
Job Summary for the RN Director of Hospice
- Responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations, overall coordination, and administration of the hospice program and responsible for the compliance of clinical services with all state and federal hospice regulations.
- Exercise general oversight of the delivery of hospice care.
- Promotes cost-effective and clinically excellent hospice care.
- Manages professional growth and job satisfaction for the hospice interdisciplinary group (IDG) including the management functions of planning, organizing, directing, and controlling.
- Manages referrals and admissions to ensure prompt service.
- Maintains communication between hospice, hospital administration, and other hospital departments and care partners including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, group homes and physician practices.
