Currently looking for an experienced Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician to fill an opening with a company located in Chicago, IL. Interested candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as an MT/MLT and will need to have done a blood bank rotation to be considered.
Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician
- Responsible for specimen processing, test performance and reporting test results.
- Testing performed will include waived, moderate and high complexity tests as authorized by the Director.
- Report results of all tests performed according to established procedures.
- Fully participate in quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards.
Requirements of the MT/MLT
- Minimum of two years of experience as an MT/MLT
- ASCP certified
- Needs to have completed a blood bank rotation
- Day shift
