Our client located in the Los Angeles, CA metro area is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This is an opportunity to provide proactive, preventative care and manage chronic conditions for an underserved population. The ideal candidate is a Certified FNP or PA with 1-3 years of experience and Bilingual in English/Spanish. New graduates with prior experience as an RN in an urgent or primary care setting will be considered.
Responsibilities of the Family NP / PA:
- 100% outpatient position
- Monday - Friday schedule, no nights or weekends
- Performing physical exams and patient observations
- Recording patients' medical histories and symptoms
- Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones
- Ordering, administering and analyzing diagnostic tests
- Monitoring and operating medical equipment
- Diagnosing health issues
Minimum Requirements of the Family NP / PA:
- Active CA license or eligible to obtain
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Certified Physician Assistant
- Ability to work collegially with both professional Medical and support staff
