Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist
- Performs radiographic procedures at the appropriate technical level under the direction of a Radiologist
- Produces X-rays to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.
- Prevents patients from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.
Requirements of the Radiology Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology
- ARRT registered RT
- BLS required
