Our client located in the state of California is looking for a permanent Nurse Manager to oversee Risk and Patient Safety in the acute care hospital setting. Must be a Registered Nurse with a BSN. 3+ years of experience managing patient safety and/or risk management program in the acute care setting with clinical experience in the acute care facility as a RN.
Responsibilities of the Patient & Safety Nurse Manager:
- Independently leads and manages the organization's Patient Safety and Risk programs.
- This position promotes and advances a culture of safety and a just culture through influence in order to maintain optimal patient outcomes to help reduce the likelihood of healthcare related errors.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, acute care hospital environment.
- There is minimal exposure to infection and/or hazardous materials in this position.
Minimum Requirements of the Nurse Manager:
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a BSN.
- 3+ years of experience managing patient safety and/or risk management program in the acute care setting with clinical experience in the acute care facility as a RN.
- Ideal candidates should 2+ years of recent Nurse Management experience.
