Currently looking for an experienced Executive Director of Pharmacy at a 300 Bed acute care hospital in Louisiana. Interested candidates should have 5+ years of recent DOP experience in a large hospital with multi-site experience.
Responsibilities of the Health System Director of Pharmacy
- The Planning, Supervising, Controlling and Organizing within the pharmacy according to the hospital policies
- Recommend innovations to pharmacy and hospital administration
- Will oversee Pharmacy Operations for the main large hospital including 20 Pharmacists, 20+ Pharmacy Technicians as well as an Assistant Director and Clinical Pharmacy Manager and two additional hospitals in the system.
Requirements of the Director of Pharmacy
- BS or Pharm D
- 3+ years of recent Pharmacy Director level experience in a multiple hospital/health system
- Specialty pharmacy knowledge is a plus
- 340B experience
