Our client just outside of Yonkers, NY is in need for a permanent Clinical RN Educator (Critical Care/Cardiac Services/CTICU). This is a M-F, Dayshift. MSN is required. 2+ years of experience in critical care/CTICU. Recent experience working as a RN Educator in the acute care setting. This location features a thriving shopping area including upscale malls.
Responsibilities of the Critical Care/Cardiac RN Educator:

Understands and adheres to the Performance Standards, Policies and Behaviors.

Participates in education programs and activities that promote the implementation of goals for the Nursing Division.

Plans, implements and evaluates the orientation program for new staff members of the Nursing Division.

Provides educational programs based on assessed learning needs.
-
Contributes to the development of standards of practice for the nursing division.

Participates in hospital projects as required/requested.

Acts as an educator, consultant, facilitator, clinician and resource person within the nursing division and interdepartmentally as appropriate.

Keeps current in Joint Commission and NYS 405 State Code requirements.

Participates in ongoing Performance Improvement activities and initiatives as requested/ required.
Requirement for the Acute Care RN Educator:
- MSN is required.
- 2+ years of experience in critical care/CTICU.
- Recent experience working as a RN Educator in the acute care setting.
