Responsibilities of the Laboratory Supervisor (MT) (MLS) (CLS)

The Department Supervisor is responsible for the management and supervision of all functions and activities in their department at all Laboratory facilities. This includes the processing and reporting of laboratory specimens assuring rapid and accurate results, maintaining laboratory records, training and competency assessment of lab technical staff, ensuring the departments are in compliance with CAP, JCAHO, and other accrediting agencies.
Requirements of the Laboratory Supervisor (MT) (MLS) (CLS)
- ASCP or equivalent certification required
- BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
- 3+ years of Generalist experience required
