We are working with a Healthcare/Hospital System in the state of Pennsylvania in search for a Nurse Director to oversee Behavioral Services. Must be a Registered Nurse with a master's degree and 5 years of recent psychiatric/behavioral health experience managing operations within a healthcare system. Must have knowledge of regulatory and professional standards.

Responsibilities for the RN Director-Behavioral Health:
- Communicates business imperatives, goals and direction in a clear and complete manner.
- Establishes clear goals and outcomes that drive change process.
- Through managers ensures effective staffing levels daily to ensure a balance between cost and quality. Investigates accidents/incidents in an effort to prevent future occurrences.
- Ensures policy/procedures remain current and in line with any new regulations.
- Plans, directs and evaluates overall activities within the behavioral health department, including administrative activities, and fiscal material and human resource management.

Identifies internal and external ways to leverage core business strengths.

Financially accountable for aspects of the unit utilizing available financial systems and reports and understanding the expense and revenue aspects of the unit.
