Our client near Upper Manhattan is seeking a Histotechnologist to join their Laboratory Team. Qualified Candidates must be HT or HTL (ASCP) eligible and be eligible. Sign on Bonus available!
Responsibilities of the Histotechnologist (HT/HTL)
- Performing special histopathology procedures (immunoperoxidase, immunofluorescence, muscle histochemistry).
- Utilizes appropriate equipment with precision for all histological protocols.
- Performs computer data entry, recall, and labeling on complex pathology network (LIS).
- Performs routine preventative maintenance, cleaning, and minor adjustments on all lab equipment.
Requirements of the Histotechnician (HT/HTL)
- HT (ASCP), HLT (ASCP), registry eligible or equivalent.
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in a biological or related science
