Our client, located just outside of White Sands National Park in New Mexico is looking for an experienced Nurse Director to oversee Emergency Services. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of prior Emergency Department Management experience, BSN is preferred.

Job Responsibilities of the RN Director-Emergency Services:
- Responsible for the supervision and management of nursing staff and support staff who provide direct care to emergency department patients.
- The patient population will include patients from newborns to the geriatric population who present with either medical, surgical, post-surgical or traumatic problems.
- Responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and refinement of departmental programs and policies and procedures.
- The director, as a registered nurse, practices nursing within the realms of the Standards of Nursing Practice, Nurse’s Code of Ethics and the Indiana Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements of the RN Director-Emergency Services:
- BSN is preferred
- At least 3 years of prior Emergency Department RN Management level experience
- Reports to the CNO
