Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced nursing care to pediatric patients across a variety of settings
  • Conduct thorough physical exams and developmental screenings
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
  • Administer immunizations and prescribe medications as appropriate
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
  • Educate and counsel patients and their families on diagnoses, medications, and preventive care
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed
  • Participate in school or extracurricular physical exams when applicable

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Active California RN and NP licenses
  • Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) through an approved board such as PNCB or ANCC
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for inpatient settings)
  • 2–4 years of relevant pediatric experience preferred, but early-career candidates will also be considered
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical problem-solving skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Status: Full-Time
  • Schedule: Day shifts (some flexibility may be required)
  • Compensation: $166,920–$220,750.40 annually, based on experience
