Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care to pediatric patients across a variety of settings
- Conduct thorough physical exams and developmental screenings
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Administer immunizations and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on diagnoses, medications, and preventive care
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed
- Participate in school or extracurricular physical exams when applicable
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Active California RN and NP licenses
- Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) through an approved board such as PNCB or ANCC
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for inpatient settings)
- 2–4 years of relevant pediatric experience preferred, but early-career candidates will also be considered
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical problem-solving skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Status: Full-Time
- Schedule: Day shifts (some flexibility may be required)
- Compensation: $166,920–$220,750.40 annually, based on experience
