Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents across various care settings
- Obtain detailed patient histories and conduct developmental screenings
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
- Administer immunizations and prescribe medications
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust care plans
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Promote health and wellness education for patients and families
- Perform physicals for school, sports, or extracurricular participation
- Maintain complete and accurate electronic health records in accordance with clinical standards
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses in good standing
- Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) through one of the following:
- Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB)
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Other recognized certifying bodies for pediatric or neonatal specialties
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (required for inpatient privileges)
- 2–4 years of pediatric NP experience preferred; open to early-career professionals with strong clinical acumen
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
Compensation & Benefits

- Compensation: $166,920–$220,750.40 annually, commensurate with experience
