PET/CT Technologist – Day Shift | South Georgia (Tifton Area)
A growing, patient-centered healthcare system in South Georgia, within easy driving distance of Tallahassee, Panama City Beach, Orlando, and Atlanta, is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join its expanding imaging team. This is a Monday–Friday, day-shift opportunity with scheduled PET/CT coverage two days per week and plans for further expansion. The organization is in an exciting phase of growth with a brand-new five-story patient care tower opening in 2026, a strong oncology focus, and a leadership team known for exceptional tenure, stability, and a family-first culture. This role is open to both experienced PET/CT Technologists and motivated Nuclear Medicine Technologists looking to grow in PET.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents safely and accurately
- Ensure optimal image quality, patient positioning, and radiation safety compliance
- Perform routine quality control, equipment checks, and documentation
- Accurately document procedures and results within imaging and hospital information systems
- Collaborate with radiologists, oncologists, and clinical teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a growing diagnostic imaging department
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program
- NMTCB and/or ARRT(N) certification required (or eligible); CT credentials preferred but not mandatory
- State license eligibility required
- Open to new graduate PET/CT or Nuclear Medicine Technologists
- PET/CT experience preferred but training support available for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Dedicated PET/CT schedule two days per week with planned growth
- Preferred starting rate around $31.50/hour for new grads, but fully negotiable based on experience
