Are you a licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)? If so, this role may be for you!
Currently looking for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to fill an opening within a Hospital setting located around the Tularosa, New Mexico area. Interested candidates should be have at least an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant with a passion to work within an inpatient/outpatient setting. Interested candidate should also have a valid COTA license and willing, or eligible, to obtain an NM license. Very competitive compensation package with sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available!
Responsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- Examining new clients and, with the supervision of an occupational therapist, develop a plan of care.
- The role of the COTA extends beyond helping patients to move their bodies, it also involves encouraging and motivating them to live fit and healthy even after treatment.
- Mobility to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
Requirements of the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- The Hospital setting is open to New graduates from an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) program
- Active New Mexico COTA license
- Full-time, Direct-hire Opportunity
- Passionate about the Outpatient/Inpatient Setting
- Day shifts; Monday - Friday 8 hour shifts
