Job Description:

Our client located in the Olympia, Washington area is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their growing team. The ideal provider has two years of experience seeing gastroenterology patient's, willing to only do outpatient only, and is already Washington licensed. This is a full-time permanent position that offers competitive compensation and full benefits. Sign-on bonus and Relocation Assistance is being offered.  

 

Job Responsibilities of the Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist:

  • The preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative evaluation of patients undergoing surgical or diagnostic procedures to include educating patients about their surgery and recovery.
  • Preparing anesthetic for patients and administering medication to include the application of spinal, epidural, regional, general or monitored anesthesia care techniques.
  • Monitoring a patient’s vitals and adjusting anesthesia levels during procedures and overseeing the patient’s safety as they recover from anesthesia.
  • Working with other medical staff to develop pain management plans.
  • Overseeing patients who are rendered unconscious and insensible to pain and emotional stress during their procedures.

Requirements of the CRNA:

  • Two years of experience as a CRNA seeing GI patients'
  • No Call
  • No ER Care
  • Outpatient Only
  • 10-hour shifts (3-4 days per week)
  • Current or eligible to obtain Washington license
