Job Description:

Our client located in Beautiful Arizona is seeking an ONSITE Director of Facilities/Plant Operations in the Healthcare Setting. You will oversee Maintenance, Design, Construction, Plant Operations and Maintenace.   Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or related field preferred.   CHFM-Certified Healthcare Facility Manager preferred.   5+ years of experience in healthcare environmental, 3+ years of Healthcare Facilities Management experience required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or related field preferred.  
  • CHFM-Certified Healthcare Facility Manager preferred.  
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare environmental
  • 3+ years of Healthcare Facilities Management experience required.  

Job Knowledge:

 

  • Sufficient knowledge of commercial plant operation concepts, building codes and regulatory statutes governing hospital building function/operation.
  • Operational knowledge of all equipment in the Plant Services department including, but not limited to: trucks, dump trucks, tractors, back hoes, snow plows, motors, pumps, power tools, hand tools, air-balance tools, electrical wirings/appliances, plumbing, heating/cooling appliances such as boilers/chillers, soft water system, automation software, elevators, beds, autoclaves, painting/patching equipment, steel framing, and patient care equipment.
  • Operational knowledge of all office equipment in the Plant Services department, including fax, printer, phone systems, computer, and all computer programs utilized hospital-wide (including Windows, MS Office, e-mail, and internet).
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to build and sustain interpersonal relationships
