Job Description:

 

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Echo Tech to join a healthcare team in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Georgia. Interested candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology. The candidate must be ARDMS registered with 2 years of vascular-related experience. This is a 10 Hour Day Shift role.

 

Skills/Certifications Required:

  • Registered as a diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular credentialing International CCI.
  • 5 years of experience in a hospital setting
  • Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (BCLS)
  • Intermediate Computer Skills Knowledge of methods, techniques, and operating principles involved in the operation of various ultrasound equipment
  • Ability to perform with proficiency the skills and procedures designated                                      

Highlights about the Position:

  • Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography in the adult and geriatric patient population.
  • Must be able to assist the cardiologist in transesophageal echo and perform stress echo procedures.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining performance improvement documentation in cardiac ultrasound under IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission).
