Job Description:
Our client near Upper Manhattan is seeking a Flow Cytometry Medical Technologist to join their Laboratory Team. Must have New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License. Sign on Bonus available!
Responsibilities of the Flow Cytometry Technologist:
- Experience with operations of BD flow cytometers.
- Knowledge of basic statistical analysis and software for flow cytometry.
- Ability to prioritize required duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram or schedule form.
Requirements of the Flow Cytometry Technologist:
- Must have a Bachelors of Science Degree in Medical Technology/Immunology/Biology or other Life Science disciplines from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience relevant to clinical flow cytometry experience (flow cytometry, hematology, immunology, HLA cross-match).
- Basic computer skills: knowledge of MS Word, Excel and laboratory information systems.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
