Job Description:

Our client located in northern North Carolina close to the Virginia border is seeking a full-time, permanent Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their outpatient clinic. This is a non-profit organization, and qualifies for Federal Loan Forgiveness. This FNP/PA will be responsible for treating patients all ages including pediatrics. Must have at least 3 years as an FNP/PA to qualify.

Responsibilities of the Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:

  • Outpatient based
  • You will have the autonomy to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, as well as educate patients on preventive care and wellness strategies.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages.
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and other therapy services needed
  • Promote wellness

Minimum Requirements of the FNP/PA:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • Must have three (3) years of experience within Family Practice treating patients of all ages  
  • Current North Carolina NC licensure or eligibility to obtain
  • Ties to the area
