Job Description:
Our client located in the heart of San Joaquin Valley is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join their growing team. This is an established practice that has been passionate about delivering quality care to children for over 40 yrs. Enjoy work-life balance with an outpatient ONLY schedule and four and a half-day work week. The ideal candidate is a PNP with at least one year of experience in an outpatient setting, however, new graduates are welcome to apply, as they are willing to train. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner:
- Complete and periodic health evaluations of diagnoses, including medical, cognitive, and psychosocial status, as well as personal assets and shortcomings to learning.
- Perform repeated assessment of patients’ reaction to teaching, discharge plan, and care provided.
- Record and present patients’ progress in relevant charts, and pass on observations and assessment reports to all healthcare team members involved,
- Study appropriate professional publications and participate in the activities of professional societies to be current with industry practices, methodologies, and philosophies.
- Collaborate with the patient’s care team and members of their family to design and carry out a plan for their care, so that proper coordination of care and communication of the patient’s health progress will be maintained.
Minimum Requirements of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner:
- California License
