Pharmacist-Pediatric Setting

Currently looking for a Pharmacist to fill an opening within the pediatric acute care hospital setting. This is a desirable 2nd shift consisting of 1pm to 11:30pm schedule. Interested candidates must have their PharmD with 2+ years of   pediatric pharmacy experience.    

Sign-on and/or Relocation will be available.

Responsibilities of the Pediatric Pharmacist:

The pharmacist is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of medications used throughout the facility. The pharmacist is expected to sustain an environment for the safe, rational, effective, and efficient use of medications prescribed to patients of all age groups. Pharmacists are responsible for the direct supervision of technical support personnel. All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, applicable regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department.

Requirements of the Pharmacist:

• 2+ years of pediatric experience
• PharmD
• Work a desirable 2nd shift
