Job Description:

Currently looking for a PERM Physical Therapist (PT) to fill an opening with a Outpatient setting located around the Midland, Texas area. Interested candidates should have at least one year of clinical experience as a PT and have an active Texas Physical Therapist license.

 

To live in the Midland, Texas area you will experience a semi-arid climate with warm summers and cool to mild winters. The geographical surroundings are flat lands with minimal trees. If you can handle the heat, you’ll love the youthful population as this area is home to multiple colleges/universities.

 

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

  • One year of Physical Therapist (PT) experience
  • Outpatient/Aquatic
  • Active/Eligible Texas Physical Therapist license  
  • Day Shift - M-Th 8A-5P; Friday 8A-12P with an acute rotation every 4th or 5th weekend.  
  • Very competitive base pay with shift and on-call differential
  • Must obtain BLS, PALS, and ACLS upon start day
  • PERM/DIRECT-HIRE PLACEMENT ONLY

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist (PT)

  • Administers medically prescribed physical therapy programs and treatments to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of body part.
  • Directs and supervises employees of the department in the assigned work areas and participates in interdisciplinary care within the department and the hospital.
  • Plans Physical Therapy programs for each patient through evaluation and assessment of patient needs, as prescribed by physicians.

  • Has the authority to recommend disciplinary action pertaining to employees supervised.
