Our client, located in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a full-time, permanent Physician’s Assistant to join their growing team. Job Responsibilities of the Oncology PA:

  • Perform physical and psycho-social assessments under general supervision and with medical consultation.
  • Establish medical diagnoses and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Order and evaluate diagnostic tests and manage follow-up care.
  • Conduct physical examinations and interpret lab test results.
  • Provide preventative healthcare and counseling to patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rounding every 3-4 weeks, typically on a Saturday or Sunday.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university affiliated with a medical school.
  • Preferred: Two to five years of experience in a medical practice setting, with a focus on diagnosis, treatment, and patient education.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
