Job Description:
Our client located in northern Iowa is seeking a highly skilled full-time, Plastic Surgery PA to join their established team of physicians and PAs. This opportunity consists of a mix of inpatient (surgery) and outpatient (clinic) responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a certified physician assistant with 1 to 2 years of first assist experience in plastic surgery cases.
Highlights of the Plastic Surgery PA Opportunity:
- Inpatient / Outpatient surgical responsibilities
- First assisting in surgery for plastic cases
- Daily rounding on patients
- Call is about 5 days monthly
- Participates in daily patient rounds, writes progress notes, assists in surgery, writes prescriptions, and prepares discharge summaries.

Skills Required of the Plastic Surgery PA Opportunity:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved PA program
- 1-2 years of experience in plastic surgery first assist
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff.
- Knowledge of plastic surgery procedures, including cosmetic and reconstructive techniques.
