Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated ARRT Radiologic Technologist to join our esteemed healthcare team near Buffalo, NY. As an ARRT Radiologic Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and delivering compassionate patient care. This position presents an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise while positively impacting the lives of individuals in our community. Must have experience in CT scanning.
Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist
- Responsible for the operation and performance of medical imaging procedures for the patient
- Must demonstrate satisfactory completion of formal training in an approved school of radiologic technology
- Call patients to schedule them when orders are faxed to the department
- Responsible for appropriate insurance authorizations and medical necessity for various exams
- Night shift 10 pm-6 am
- Salary starting at $25 + DOE
Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist
- Current NYS License as a Radiologic Technologist required
- ARRT Certification
- Associate’s degree in Radiology or related
- BLS required
- Must have experience in CT scanning.
