Job Description:
Our client located in the Beautiful Central California is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse for the Pediatric Operating Room.
This is a Dayshift position.
Graduate from accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's degree in nursing or other field required. PALS within 12 months of hire.
2+ years of clinical nursing experience. OR experience required, pediatric experience is a plus.
Earn a competitive compensation starting at $110K-150K+/year.
Position Summary for the Charge RN-Pediatric OR:
This position is accountable for managing the overall operations of a defined patient care unit during an assigned shift. The incumbent is accountable for monitoring, evaluation, and directing patient care provided by staff, coordinating activities of the patient care unit, making staff assignments and assisting with the development and evaluation of staff members. The incumbent will assist with the recruitment and hiring of staff, evaluating staff competency and evaluating, coaching, and counseling assigned staff in concert with the Manager/Supervisor. This position practices within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Hospital policies.
Requirements for the Pediatric Operating Room Charge RN:
Graduate from accredited nursing program
Bachelor's degree in nursing or other field.
PALS within 12 months of hire.
2+ years of clinical nursing experience.
OR experience required, pediatrics experience is a plus.
Bilingual skills desirable
