Job Description:
We are working with an outstanding client near Hopewell, Ohio, who is looking to hire an ARRT Special Procedures Tech-Cath Lab. Experience is preferred, however strong new graduates are encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates should be registered with ARRT Radiology and be able to obtain a license in the state of Ohio.
Responsibilities for this Special procedure Tech-Cath Lab
- Effectively and safely operates all imaging and related medical (patient monitoring & support) equipment to complete a variety of invasive and other special procedures.
- Produces acceptable images by selecting appropriate exposure factors, time sequences, and patient positioning.
- Follows all radiation protection and radiation safety policies.
- Assumes “call status” as necessary during off-hours for emergency procedures.
Requirements for the Special Procedures Tech-Cath Lab
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent) in the appropriate specialty (radiography)
- Competence in all diagnostic radiographic and special procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation, conflict resolution skills
- Ability to focus on multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently and under pressure in a complex and changing working environment
