An established and growing urology practice in Northern Iowa is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their collaborative team. Located in a welcoming, affordable Midwest community with access to scenic lakes, outdoor recreation, and excellent public schools, this position offers both a high quality of life and professional growth. This position supports a department currently staffed by two experienced urologists and is part of a planned expansion to integrate advanced practice providers (APPs). The role offers a balanced mix of clinic and surgical responsibilities, along with a structured onboarding process and physician mentorship. New graduates are welcome to apply.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide urologic patient care in both the clinic and operating room settings under physician supervision
- Assist in pre-operative evaluations, surgical procedures, and post-op follow-up care
- Conduct physical exams, review diagnostics, manage treatment plans, and counsel patients
- Perform common office procedures (e.g., catheter changes, wound care, cystoscopy prep)
- Participate in the call rotation as part of the team-based approach to care
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care coordinators for comprehensive patient management
- Accurately document all patient interactions in the EMR
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- National certification (NP-C, FNP, or PA-C) and eligibility for Iowa licensure
- Willingness to participate in both clinic and surgical responsibilities
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $122,000 – $140,000
