Dual Modality Rad Tech (X-Ray & CT)

Our client located in the Doral, FL area is seeking a Rad Tech with dual modality experience (X-Ray & CT) to join their team. Enjoy a full-time benefited permanent position with a growing client in the south Florida market. The ideal Rad Tech is certified through the ARRT, has at least one year of experience in X-Ray & CT, and can start quickly.  

Job Responsibilities of the Dual Modality Rad Tech:

• Provide diagnostic imaging services by using computed tomography and digital x-ray
• Must have the ability to work in both modalities according to schedule
• Using x-ray equipment to take radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as per physicians’ written orders.
• Explaining x-ray procedures to patients and answering their questions.
• Positioning patients accordingly, which may include lifting and moving patients with limited mobility.
• Limiting patients' exposure to radiation by placing lead shields on patients where needed.

Minimum Requirements for the Rad Tech Dual Modality position:

• One year of experience in X-Ray & CT Tech
• Fluent in Spanish (preferred)
• ARRT Certification
