Our client, a reputable healthcare facility, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join their newly established Acute Care Walk-in clinic. This exciting opportunity is perfect for a compassionate healthcare professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

As a Family Nurse Practitioner at our state-of-the-art clinic, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of recent experience as an NP in a similar acute care or urgent care setting and will be comfortable treating a diverse patient population ranging from infants to the elderly.

Key Responsibilities of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):

  • Provide thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries.
  • Order, perform, and interpret a variety of diagnostic tests to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Efficiently triage patients, manage patient flow, and ensure that care is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

 

Minimum Requirements of the Family Nurse Practitioner:

  • Must be Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
  • At least one year of experience working in an urgent care or similar acute care setting as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a license to practice in New Hampshire.
