Hospitalist

Our client located near Savannah, Georgia is looking to add a Hospitalist to their team. The ideal provider has one year of experience and is board certified in Internal Medicine with experience as a Hospitalist. Having open ICU experience is a plus. Enjoy a 7 On / 7 Off schedule with 1:3 call when on shift that week.

Responsibilities of the Hospitalist:

• Provide excellent patient care
• Create and recommend treatment plans
• Take patient medical histories
• Update patient information and charts with the latest findings and treatments
• Order tests for health care staff to administer
• Review and interpret test results
• Respond to questions and concerns from patients about their health care and well-being
• Discuss proper nutrition, hygiene, and self-care with patients to promote good health
• Work with various medical staff such as an anesthesiologist, surgeons, and nurses to provide patient care

Minimum Requirements for the Hospitalist Position:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine with Hospitalist experience
• Open ICU experience preferred
• 7 On / 7 Off
• Georgia licensed or in the process of obtaining
