Lab Supervisor (MT/CLS) Blood Bank

Our client located in the Waterford, Vermont area is looking for an experienced ASCP Medical Technologist to join their growing team as a Blood Bank Supervisor. Enjoy a full-time permanent position that offers competitive compensation and a preferred schedule. The ideal candidate has ASCP/HHS certification and is able to work in all areas of the lab. Responsibilities of the Lab Supervisor (MT) (MLS) (CLS)

• The Department Supervisor is responsible for the management and supervision of all functions and activities in their department at all Laboratory facilities. This includes the processing and reporting of laboratory specimens assuring rapid and accurate results, maintaining laboratory records, training and competency assessment of lab technical staff, ensuring the departments are in compliance with CAP, JCAHO, and other accrediting agencies.

Requirements of the Lab Supervisor (MT) (MLS) (CLS)

• ASCP or equivalent certification required
• BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
• Generalist and Blood Bank experience required, Laboratory Supervisory experience preferred
