Job Description:
Our client in western Massachusetts is seeking a Mammography Tech to join their growing imaging team. Multiple shifts available and the client is offering a sign-on/relocation assistance for the right candidate. Must be Massachusetts licensed or eligible to obtain. ARRT(R) (M). Client will move fast.
Responsibilities of the Mammography Tech:
- May include independent assignments, supervision of personnel, and instruction as determined by management.
- Ensuring proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, practicing infection control, and maintaining patient confidentiality are essential components of this role.
- Proficiency in operating PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems, as well as troubleshooting CR, DR, and PACS applications, is required.
- Attendance at annual mandatory education sessions and maintenance of departmental competencies are expected.
Minimum Requirements for the Mammo Tech position:
- Minimum of 2 years as a diagnostic technologist, with at least 1 year of experience specifically in mammography.
- Completion of a formal ACR-approved Radiologic Technology program for radiology and mammography.
- ARRT(RTR) - Registered Technologist Radiography.
- ARRT(M) - Mammography.
- CPR certification is required.
- MALIC(R)(M) - Massachusetts License in Radiography and Mammography
