Job Description:
Our client located just south of the Dallas, Texas area is seeking a full-time permanent Multimodality Radiology Supervisor to join their radiology leadership team. The ideal candidate has three (3) years of experience in a leadership role, able to start within 30 days, current or eligible to obtain their Texas license, and already ARRT(R)(MR)(CT) certified.
Job Responsibilities of the Radiology Technologist:
- Accountable for supervising, planning, organizing and improving work processes in the various sections of Radiology Services.
- Performs department orientation, teaches, coaches, supervises staff and performs imaging exams in various disciplines such as CT, MR or Rad.
- The Supervisor also acts as a department liaison in the absence of a manager.
- Oversees the delivery and quality of imaging services with respect to turnaround times, quality of exams performed and patient preparation in a timely, accurate, and cost-efficient manner
- Performs procedures, as needed, due to workload or complexity.
- Ensures adequate staffing levels, supplies and resources are available to perform exams and clinical services to meet clinical demands.
- Schedules, monitors, evaluates and modifies staffing patterns in order to properly provide services in assigned areas. Interviews, counsels, and completes performance evaluations.
- Trains new staff and ensures all registrations and certifications are current, on file and up to date.
Minimum Job Requirements of the Radiology Technologist:
- ARRT (R) (MR) (CT) Certified
- Current or eligible to obtain Texas license
- BLS Certified
- Three (3) years of experience
