Job Description:
Our client located near Western Massachusetts is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join their Residency program. Interested candidates must be a new graduate and comfortable working with the pediatrics population. Receive further training and mentoring to enhance your clinical skills and gain experience in providing specialized care for pediatric patients.
Responsibilities of the Pediatric or Family Nurse Practitioner:
- Provide primary health care and seeing children of all ages for wellness/sick visits, follow-up appointments, and vaccinations
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician and patient's family regarding patient care
Requirements of the PNP/FNP:
- Must be a New Graduate
- Current MA Licensure or eligible to obtain
- PALS, BLS, ACLS required
- Ties to the area
