Job Description:

Are you an experienced Oncology NP looking to make a difference in northwestern Illinois? Look no further! Our client’s cancer care practice in the Davenport area is seeking a dedicated Oncology NP to join their team. As an Oncology NP, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients and making a positive impact in the local community. This opportunity comes with a $20k sign on bonus, generous PTO, and comprehensive benefits.

As an Oncology NP with at least one year of experience or 3 years of prior RN experience, you will work collaboratively with a team of 4 physicians, 2 NPs and other clinical/non-clinical professionals to deliver comprehensive oncology care to patients in need.

Minimum Requirements of the Oncology NP:  

  • Masters of Nursing
  • 1 year of experience as an Oncology NP or Min of 3 years of experience as an Oncology RN / Certified Oncology RN
  • Licensure in the states of IL and IA or eligible to obtain
  • DEA license

Responsibilities of the Oncology NP:

  • Conducting patient assessments
  • Developing treatment plans
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of oncology care
