Job Description:
ONSITE
Our client is currently looking for an experienced HIM Coding Manager to fill an opening with a hospital setting located around the Hinsdale, Massachusetts area. Interested candidates must have at least five years of medical records experience, 3+ years in the acute care hospital supervisory experience. RHIA or RHIT or will be obtained within 2 years of hire. CCS-Certified Coding Specialist is preferred.

Primary Functions of the Coding Manager:
The Coding Manager oversees the day-to-day operation of the Medical Record Department acute coding; inpatient, outpatient and professional services.
Requirements of the HIM Coding Manager:
- Must have at least five years of medical records experience
- 3+ years in the acute care hospital supervisory experience.
- RHIA or RHIT or will be obtained within 2 years of hire.
- CCS-Certified Coding Specialist is preferred.
