Onsite HIM Manager-Eastern Montana

Small hospital system in Eastern Montana is seeking a Health Information Management Manager/Manager of HIM.    5+ years of HIM Management level experience. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in HIM preferred.   RHIT or RHIA.   Coding certified from AAPC or AHIMA preferred. Job Duties of the HIM Manager:

• Ensuring timely and accurate coding of hospital and physician charges
• Medical Records completion and storage, transcription verification, clinical documentation improvement, patient releases of information, and data collection.
• Supervision of HIM staff

Requirements for the Manager of HIM

• 5+ years of HIM Management level experience.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in HIM preferred.  
• RHIT or RHIA.  
• Coding certified from AAPC or AHIMA preferred
