Job Description:
Our client in the Phoenix, Arizona area is seeking an experienced Primary Care - Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This position has an outpatient-only schedule, Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience working in a primary care setting as a Nurse Practitioner and is Bilingual in English and Spanish. Must possess an MSN or MS degree, be DEA eligible, and be eligible to get licensed in the state of Arizona.
Responsibilities of the Primary Care AGNP
- Provide care to the adult population with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention
- A collaborative relationship with supervising physician with balanced autonomy
- Examining patients, checking vital signs, asking patients about symptoms, making diagnoses, prescribing medicine to patients, and educating them on their condition.
Minimum Requirements of the Primary Care AGNP:
- Three years of experience as an NP/PA in a primary care setting
- Bilingual - English / Spanish
- Current or willing to obtain Arizona NP license
