Job Description:
Our client in the northwestern Phoenix, Arizona area is seeking an experienced Primary Care - Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner to join their team. This position has an outpatient-only schedule, Monday - Friday. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience working in a primary care setting as an AGNP and is Bilingual in English and Spanish. Must possess a Master's Degree, be DEA eligible, and be eligible to get licensed in the state of Arizona.
Responsibilities of the Primary Care AGNP:
- Provide care to the adult population with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention
- A collaborative relationship with supervising physician with balanced autonomy
- Examining patients, checking vital signs, asking patients about symptoms, making diagnoses, prescribing medicine to patients, and educating them on their condition.
Minimum Requirements of the Primary Care AGNP:
- Must be certified as an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner
- At least 1 year of experience as an AGNP in a primary care setting including experience with the geriatric patient population
- Bilingual - English / Spanish is preferred
- Current or willing to obtain an Arizona NP license
