Job Description:
Our client located in Harrisonburg, Virginia is seeking a Radiology Tech to join their Radiology team! This is a full-time permanent position that offers an evening or night shift along with great pay and benefits. The ideal candidate has one year of experience, ARRT (R) certified, and can start within 30 days. The client will move fast for the right candidate. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance!
Job Responsibilities of the Radiologic Tech:
- Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
- Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients' comfort.
- Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
- Monitoring patients during examinations, ensuring their safety, and following procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
Minimum Job Requirements for the Radiologic Tech:
- BLS Certified
- ARRT (R) Certified
- Able to start within 30 days
- Evening or Night Shift option
