Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experience RN Clinical Educator for Psych Services in the inpatient unit. Work a M-F Dayshift. BSN is required. 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in the hospital setting with 3+ in the psychiatric setting. Previous educational nursing instructor experience preferred.
Summary of the Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Educator:
The Clinical Educator functions as a leader in education, a staff development resource, and mentor. He/she supports collaboration between the academic and practice settings. He/she supports continuous learning and professional development through provision of in-services; education program development, implementation, and evaluation; and competency assessment. He/she promotes and demonstrates evidence based practice.
Requirements of the RN Psychiatric Educator:
BSN is required.
5+ years of clinical nursing experience in the hospital setting
3+ in the psychiatric setting.
Previous educational nursing instructor experience preferred..
