Job Description:
Our client near Schuyler, Nebraska, is seeking a full-time permanent Ultrasound Technologist to join their Diagnostic Imaging team. Enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule with some potential call, competitive compensation, and full benefits. New graduates will be considered, but the client is looking for someone to be vascular certified within one year of employment.
Job Responsibilities for the Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer:
- Preparing patients for exams, explaining procedures, and ensuring their safety and comfort
- Operating imaging equipment, reviewing images for quality, and identifying normal and abnormal results
- Recording patient medical histories, measurements, and calculations
- Communicating results to physicians or other health professionals
- Coordinating care with other departments within a hospital or clinic
Requirements for the Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer:
- ARRT(R) Certified
- Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist within one year of employment
