Job Description:

Our client located in beautiful Central Vermont, is looking for a Urology NP or PA to join their team. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in Urology care as an NP or PA, is Vermont licensed, and has ties to the area. Responsibilities of the Urology NP/PA:

  • Acts as the primary physician extender
  • Provides patient care and dictates patient care rendered per expectations
  • Obtains and dictates history and physical, progress notes, and discharge summaries to document care given to patient
  • Ensures all pertinent data in patient charts are counter-signed by the supervising physician
  • Coordinates advanced diagnostic and therapeutic patient care procedures by assisting with the technical and medical aspects of simulation and treatment planning
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining quality assurance and a continuous quality improvement program.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective working relations with patients, staff, and public
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Requirements of the Urology NP/PA:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or Graduate of an AMA approved PA program
  • 2 years’ experience as an Advanced Practice Clinician in the area of Urology
